Overview
\n<\/strong>We started on the top three bands, 10, 15 and 20 meter. After some nice America points (North and South) on 15 meter we moved down on 40 meter to work europe, which worked out quite well. In the evening it was hard to get QSO\u2019s. Especially on 80 and 160 meter it was difficult to make many points. In the early Sunday morning we could enjoy a North America pile up on 40 meter. This was running till the late sunrise. During this time the power generator had a problem and we had to switch over to the old smaller power generator. This means that we could only operate with 200 Watts output power and not anymore 1000 Watt. The Sunday morning till the end was hard. No big things were able to catch on the high bands. Only 40 meter was sporadic working, altough there were many North American stations spotted on 20 meter we could not get overseas. During the full weekend not many stations were around which was also reported by other participating stations. At the end around 30% of the QSO\u2019s were with North America but we could \u201conly\u201d make 900 QSO\u2019s<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Conclusion
\n<\/strong>It was a nice a weekend filled with contesting atmosphere. We were all happy when it started at 15.00 local time and everybody who attended was fulfilled with motivation. If we compare to the other stations we are still in a good position which surprises us since we had the above described bad events. We are curious about the result which will hopefully be published in the next HB Radio magazine. As always we hope we can improve our contesting methods in the future. We are looking forward to the next \u201cHB9EE Contest!\u201d session!<\/p>\n
